Mission

Core
Values

Community Centered

We seek to build a strong network of youth, families, community members, and organizational stakeholders to prevent HIV/ STIs, underage drinking, and substance use. Successful prevention and treatment programs are rooted in the community and NYCC4H is committed to uplifting the voices, needs, and strengths of the Bronx.

Peer Based

Prevention education and connection to treatment for HIV/ STIs, underage drinking, and substance use that is shared by peers has the highest impact on teens and young adults. Prevention education and harm reduction strategies are most successful when it is communicated by and within the community. That’s why NYCC4H is committed to training peer community outreach workers to provide resources to support Bronx youth.
