Through E.T.N. and S.A.F.E.R. Haven, we envision reducing the spread of HIV, underage drinking, as well as the start and development of substance use disorders (SUDs).
A Health and Wellness Survey is an opportunity for Bronx youth ages 13-24 to reflect on their health choices and be connected to prevention and treatment services.
After completing the survey, we have a judgment-free conversation with them about their health goals and experiences. To show our appreciation, we provide a $30 electronic gift card for completing the survey.
When youth indicate that they would benefit from prevention and treatment services, our team will provide navigation support. Navigation support includes scheduling and preparing for appointments as well as transportation assistance.
We have partnered with community organizations that provide the following services:
Treatment for substance use disorders (SUDs)
Treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
Mental health services
Food assistance
